About Virgil's Fine Goods Patterns

Virgil's Fine Goods creates sewing patterns for historical sewists to refine their historical wardrobe (and children's wardrobe) and expand their skillset. All of our patterns are drafted based on original extant garments to provide the most authentic shapes for your kit.

We are passionate about providing well researched patterns with easy to understand instructions in several formats for you and your little ones. All of our patterns have been tested by sewists of all skill levels. If you're interested in being a pattern tester please visit our Pattern Testing Page.

Our patterns are available in both printed paper format and print-at-home .pdf format. We are ever mindful of our impact on the environment and enclose our patterns with paper envelopes. We are proud to have our patterns produced in the USA and made from recyclable materials.  If you need extra protection for shipping, we can place the pattern in an additional plastic envelope; please leave a note on your order and we will honor your request.

Virgil's Fine Goods is also a pattern collaborator with Scroop Patterns to create historically accurate 18th and 19th century graded garment patterns!  Follow this link for Print-at-home .pdf versions of Scroop + VFG patterns and this link for Printed Paper versions.
